A woman who came from another country to go home in her hometown in Laoag took it to Facebook to rant about the taxi driver that asked for a P1900 fare from her.
In a Facebook post, Mitch Lu-ang Leswe shared in all caps how the driver of the taxi they rode from the airport until the bus terminal at Farinas asked for P1900 from them.
She said that they were the ones who paid for the gas and toll of the taxi driver. When they seemed reluctant, the driver even said that it was how it was supposed to be.
"Ganun talaga dapat"
Even the conductor in the bus terminal when they arrived there told the taxi driver that he was getting way above what he was supposed to be getting. "Sobra ka naman"

The woman and her companion are going to ride the bus to go home to Laoag where the bus fare only amounts to P700 or somewhere close.
Mitch was telling the driver repeatedly in the video that was included in her post that the fare that the driver was asking for is even more expensive than their tickets to Laoag.
Balikbayans
This is what is sad about some people here. The moment that they see a balikbayan or a foreigner, they immediately think that these are rich people that they can pay double or even triple the normal price.
These balikbayans are working hard in other countries just so they can provide for their families. They are not cows that anybody can milk when they need money.
Let this be a lesson to everybody who will be going home here. If a taxi driver asks for a fixed amount, don't agree. You should be using the taxi meter at any cost. You can complain those who will attempt to overprice.

Labis na nag-init ang ulo ni Mary Ann Mendoza also known as Nanay Dub. Siya ang nanay ni Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza na araw-araw naman nating napapanood sa Longest Running Noontime Show na Eat Bulaga. Heto na nga, naga-lit si Nanay Dub dahil nabasa nito ang mga negatibong komento ng mga alipores o in other word mga Fans na hamog ni Pambansang Bae Alden Richards. Matatandaan na naospital ang dalaga dulot ng diarrhea at dehydration kung kayat hindi muna siya nasisilayan ngayon sa nasabing programa.
